Important
Message Regarding the 3Com Phone System and Daylight Savings
Time 2007
This
is very important information in regards to your 3Com Phone
System. 3Com phone systems do not support the new changes
to Daylight Savings Time! You will have to manually change
your phone system Time forward and also backwards. You will
also need to uncheck the box that states "Observe Daylight
Savings Time"!
You
may also purchase the R6.0 upgrade
(instant $125 rebate ends March 3, 2007) that will automatically
adjust the time for you.
For
the U.S. and its territories, Daylight Saving Time is NOT
observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the
Virgin Islands, and Arizona.
Beginning
in year 2007, most of the U.S. will begin Daylight Saving
Time at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March and revert
to standard time on the first Sunday in November. In the
U.S., each time zone switches at a different time.

HOW
TO PERFORM MANUAL CHANGE:
1.
Log into your 3Com Phone System as Administrator
2.
Click on "Tab To It"
3.
Under "System Configuration" click on "System
Settings"
4.
Click on "Date and Time"
5.
Change Time to the correct time
6.
Uncheck "Observe Daylight Savings Time"
7. Click "Apply" and then "OK"
